Morgan Wallen Denver 2026: Everything You Need to Know Before the Show

Morgan Wallen Denver 2026 Still The Problem Tour

I'll be there. If you've got tickets to one or both nights of the Still The Problem Tour at Empower Field at Mile High, here's everything that'll actually make your night run smoother.

Morgan Wallen shows at NFL stadiums aren't like most concerts. They're bigger, longer, and harder to get out of than almost any other event you've been to. Denver has some real advantages most tour cities don't have, but only if you know about them before you go. Read this before you just Uber there and figure it out.

The Basics

Night 1: Friday, May 29, 2026

Night 2: Saturday, May 30, 2026

Venue: Empower Field at Mile High, 1701 Bryant Street, Denver, CO 80204

Gates open: 4:30 PM MT both nights

Show start: 5:30 PM MT both nights

Pit entry: Floor ticketholders enter through the North Tunnel between Gates 4 and 5

The Lineups

The opener rotation is different each night, so if you're going both nights, you're getting two different shows.

Friday, May 29

Vincent Mason

Gavin Adcock

Brooks & Dunn

Morgan Wallen

Saturday, May 30

Vincent Mason

Gavin Adcock

Ella Langley

Morgan Wallen

A few things worth knowing about the show itself: Gavin Adcock typically comes back out during Wallen's set for "Up Down." That's been consistent at every stop on this tour. On nights when Ella Langley is direct support, Wallen usually brings her back out mid-set for "What I Want." The shows aren't identical night to night, which is a big part of why people go to both.

The Setlist

Wallen hasn't released new music since wrapping his 2025 I'm The Problem Tour, so the Still The Problem Tour setlist is built around that album plus his full catalog. Based on what's been played so far this tour, expect songs like "I'm The Problem," "TN," "Cover Me Up," "Love Somebody," "Whiskey Glasses," "Last Night," "Cowgirls," "You Proof," "I Had Some Help," "Just In Case," "Don't We," "This Bar," "I Got Better," and "20 Cigarettes." He typically closes with "Broadway Girls."

He has more hits than he has time for. Something you love might not make it in. Something you forgot you knew every word to will. That's just how his shows go.

The Stage Setup

The Still The Problem Tour has a new stage compared to 2025. There are now four pit areas instead of two, and the catwalk extends out in two large directions into the crowd. He gets further out into the crowd during the show than he did on the last tour. If you're in the pit, he will be close at some point in the night.

For stands tickets, the B-stage and extended catwalks mean he rotates through different parts of the floor throughout the set. Most sections get a solid angle at some point.

Getting There: Skip the Uber

This is the most important thing in this guide. At a show this size, Uber and Lyft are not a real option once the show ends. Prices surge hard within minutes, wait times stretch past an hour, and the pickup situation around the stadium is genuinely chaotic. People stand on sidewalks for 45 minutes watching their cars get reassigned to someone else. It happens every single time.

Denver has something most tour cities don't: light rail that stops directly at the stadium.

Taking the Light Rail

The Empower Field at Mile High Station sits on the east side of the stadium. The E Line and W Line both serve it directly, and either gets you to Denver Union Station in about four minutes. From Union Station, you can connect to the A, B, G, or N lines depending on where you're staying or where you parked.

RTD adds train cars for major events at Empower Field. Trains run frequently after the show to handle the crowd. There will be a line and the trains will be packed, but they move. It's a completely different situation than standing outside waiting on a rideshare that keeps getting reassigned.

Download the RTD Next Ride app before you go. You can type the event into the destination field and get real-time options from wherever you are. Tap-to-pay works on all RTD trains and buses.

One important detail: Auraria West Station is closed during large events at Empower Field. Use the Empower Field at Mile High Station on the east side of the stadium.

If You're Driving

On-site parking is available via Ticketmaster in advance. Lots fill up, and stadium event pricing is steep. A lot of people find it easier to park at a Park-n-Ride further out and take the rail in. RTD has a full list of locations on their website, and it makes particular sense if you're coming from the suburbs or anywhere along the light rail corridor.

Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots before the show.

Getting Out: Account for the Time

Getting out of Empower Field after a Morgan Wallen show takes a while no matter how you're getting back. The rail helps significantly, but 70,000 people are all doing the same thing at the same time. Expect a real wait at the station even with extra trains running.

The last E Line train from Empower Field at Mile High Station typically runs around midnight. The last W Line is around 11:57 PM. If you're relying on the train to get back, know those windows before you're standing there making that decision at midnight.

If You're in the Pit: Morgan Signs After the Show

Wallen has been consistently coming back out after his shows to sign autographs and take photos with fans in the pit. It's not guaranteed every night, but it's happened regularly throughout this tour. If you're in the pit and want to stay, he typically comes back out within about an hour after the main show ends.

If that's on your list for either night, build the timing into your plan before you go. Know your last train window, know when you need to leave, and decide in advance whether you're staying. Going in with a plan is better than making that call in the moment at midnight.

Bag Policy

Empower Field enforces the standard NFL Clear Bag Policy for all events, concerts included.

  • Clear plastic bag no larger than a one-gallon Ziploc, OR
  • A small clutch purse no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (with or without a strap)
  • You can carry one of each
  • No backpacks, no large purses, no drawstring bags

Bag check lockers are available outside Gate 8 near the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame wall on the east side of the stadium. Fee applies.

Mobile tickets only. Screenshots and paper printouts are not accepted at entry. Get your ticket into your phone's wallet before you're standing in the entry line.

The stadium is fully cashless. Card or mobile pay only at concessions and merch stands.

Denver in Late May: What to Expect

Denver at the end of May is genuinely unpredictable. Average highs sit in the low-to-mid 70s, but evenings cool down faster than you'd expect, especially once the sun drops behind the mountains around 7 to 8 PM. It's also the tail end of Colorado's afternoon thunderstorm season. A show that starts in 75-degree sunshine can feel completely different by 10 PM.

Bring a layer. Something light you can tie around your waist or stuff into your clear bag. If you're in the pit or on the floor, the crowd keeps you warm, but once the energy settles you feel it. For people in the upper deck, it gets cold faster than you'd think.

A packable rain layer is worth throwing in too. Both shows are rain or shine.

Altitude

The one Denver-specific thing that catches people off guard: Empower Field sits at 5,280 feet. If you're flying in from sea level, you'll feel it, especially when you add alcohol into the mix. Drinks hit harder and faster at elevation, and dehydration creeps up quicker than you'd expect.

Drink water throughout the night. You can bring in a clear, empty plastic water bottle up to 34 oz and fill it at water stations inside the stadium. Use it.

What to Wear

Comfortable shoes are non-negotiable for Denver specifically. You're going to walk more than you expect getting to and from the stadium, and if you're taking the rail, you're on your feet from the moment you leave until you're back. Broken-in boots, sneakers, anything you'd walk two miles in without thinking about it. New boots can wait for a different show.

And that layer. However good the outfit looks, you'll want it by 10 PM.

If you're still sorting out what to wear to either night, the Still The Problem Denver collection is here. Unofficial. ...but better. 😊
